A 1,000-person lab for enterprises. Or an engine built for your store.

Brainlabs Alternative for Ecommerce Google Ads (2026)

Brainlabs runs media for Netflix and Estee Lauder. Not enterprise-size? The honest fit test for ecom stores - and the specialist to call instead.

  • 12,000+PMax campaigns audited
  • 200+Live ecom clients
  • €200M+Tracked sales

If you are hunting for a Brainlabs alternative, start with the credit, because the credit is real. Brainlabs does media science at a scale most agencies only talk about. A repository of 2,500 logged experiments across hundreds of clients. MMM and geo testing run in-house. Cortex AI agents trained on that experiment library. Netflix, Hilton, Microsoft, and Estee Lauder on the roster, client billings past $1bn in 2023, and a 2026 Google Ads Impact Award. Dan Gilbert left Google in 2012 to build "the agency he wished existed" and grew it to 1,000+ people across five continents.

So why would anyone want an alternative to a machine that good? Almost never because the machine is bad. Because the machine was built around a different business. Brainlabs was shaped by enterprise media plans: search, social, programmatic, CTV, and retail media, coordinated for brands the size of Netflix and Estee Lauder. If you run an ecom store doing 6-7 figures a month, you are asking a different question. The question is whose lab was built around a store your size. I run ZenoX Media, and that question is the reason we exist.

What enterprise media science actually is

Here is why Brainlabs wins at the top end. When you run media for hundreds of clients across a dozen channels, every experiment one team logs makes the next plan smarter. That is the whole idea behind their experiment repository and the Cortex agents sitting on top of it. The knowledge compounds. It is a real moat, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

Now look at what that science assumes. It assumes a media plan with many channels to trade against each other. It assumes budgets large enough for MMM and geo testing to read a clean signal. It assumes a buying process that starts with a sales conversation. Brainlabs publishes no pricing anywhere: no pricing page on the site, and agency directories list minimums as "Inquire" or "Confidential" (checked 17 July 2026). None of that is a flaw. That is simply the shape of a tool built for enterprises. The real question is whether that shape fits your store.

What store-level obsession looks like

We took the same core belief - media should run on data and software - and pointed all of it at one job: ecom Google Ads. No CTV desk. No retail media practice. One channel, 200+ ecom brands across the US, Europe, and Dubai, and EUR 200M+ in revenue generated for them.

Narrow sounds small until you see what it buys: depth. In ecom Google Ads, the fight is won in the feed, the tracking, and the product-level budget calls. A multi-channel media plan never gets close to any of those. A team that lives inside them all day, every day, does.

The engine

That depth is not a headcount story. It is software we built in-house, and our engine runs it on every account.

It starts with Feed Intelligence. Your Shopping feed is generated straight from your Shopify catalog and validated against Merchant Center rules before anything ships, so disapprovals get caught while they are still free to fix. In Shopping, the feed IS the performance. Then the Performance Labelizer sorts every SKU into one of five buckets: Champion, Potential, Sleeper, Waster, Zombie. It ships those labels to Merchant Center, so budget follows products instead of averages.

And Anomaly + Self-Heal reads every account every hour. Spend spikes, ROAS drops, zero-conversion days, feed disapprovals, tracking breaks. When it is sure of the fix, it applies it without waiting. Everything else pings a senior operator in Slack before it reaches your dashboard. Their Cortex is built on their logged experiments. Our engine learns from ecom stores, because that is all it ever sees.

The honest fit test

Choose Brainlabs if you are an enterprise coordinating search, social, programmatic, CTV, and retail media, and you need MMM, incrementality, and geo testing at that scale. That is their home turf, and they are excellent on it.

Choose a specialist if your growth lives on Google Shopping and Performance Max. Three practical differences will decide it:

Transparency. Brainlabs publishes no pricing. Ours is public: 10% on the first 10,000 euros of monthly spend, stepping down to 6% above 150,000. You can price us tonight without a single call.

Right-sized attention. At a 1,000-person enterprise shop, a 6-figure-a-month store is a small account by definition. At ZenoX, that exact store is who the engine, the nightly product ranker, and the operator model were built for.

Accountability. You talk to the senior operator running your account, someone who scaled their own ecom brands, not a coordinator between layers. They answer the same day.

Proof you can check, terms you can live with

200+ ecom brands. Trustpilot 4.8 from 38 reviews. Named clients on camera at /results. And the terms match the confidence: month to month, no lock-in, and your Google Ads account and data stay yours from day one. If we stop earning the fee, you walk with everything.
